We are excited to share our stories of impact and an overview of what has happened over the last year.
At The Guelph Community Foundation (GCF), it is our purpose to strengthen and support our community through philanthropic leadership, and to empower people and causes through evidence-based granting and donor support. We are a charitable foundation that has supported Guelph and area through endowments, stewardship, granting & community leadership for over 25 years, and we can’t wait to share our story with you!
In 2025 we granted $1.37 million in 331 grants to 222 charities doing incredible work to address the needs in Guelph and Wellington County.
We’re happy to share that our rate of return was above expectations at 7.7%, putting us in a great position for 2026. By the end of 2025 we had received close to $2 million in donations from generous donors which has contributed to our total endowed assets of over $18 million held here at GCF. Your ongoing support makes it all possible. We are excited to celebrate the impact we’ve had and we are grateful for everyone who has helped support GCF this year and in years past. We couldn’t have done this without you!
