Vital Signs© is a national initiative, which helps identify the greatest needs for funding for the local community.
Vital Signs© is a community check-up that measures the local community’s health and vitality, identifies significant trends, and provides in-depth, up-to-date information about the people in the community and the environments in which they live, work, and go to school.
We partner with Toward Common Ground (TCG), a partnership between select social and health service organizations that developed a collective planning model for Guelph and Wellington County, to ensure the information Vital Signs provides is accurate and local. We also work with a committee of community experts as a member of TCG to ensure the report is examining the right issues.
In addition to our Vital Signs© reports, we created Vital Focus reports on timely and important issues in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. These reports were published between 2020 and 2021 and involved partnerships with TCG, Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph-Public Health, the City of Guelph, Guelph Wellington Ontario Health Team and Wellington County.
