Ed Video Media Arts Centre has recently announced that they have reached their $5000 in individual donations received which unlocks a generous matching contribution from The Wood Roberts Family Fund, a fund held by the Guelph Community Foundation. This is a huge milestone for Ed Video Media Arts Centre as it brings them half way to their over all goal of raising $20,000 and has them “excited to continue pushing forward.”
Ed Video is an artist-run centre with a focus on video art, but which also serving all forms of media art. The donations received will directly fund:
- New Workshops that ignite creativity
- Educational Programs that inspire learning
- ASL Interpreters for more inclusivity
- Artist Fees that support local and regional talent
As arts funding faces significant challenges, these contributions are crucial. This support ensures Ed Video can continue their work providing these services and enriching the community through media arts. Through this generous donation, the Wood Roberts Family Fund will help to ensure that they can continue providing these vital services and enriching the community through media arts.
