An exciting day of learning, connection, and collaboration!

Finding Abundance was a new and free full day networking and professional development workshop for local non-profit workers.
This day brought together non-profit organizations from across Guelph, Wellington & Dufferin County to share strategies, build relationships, and spark new ideas. Finding Abundance: A Symposium for Our Community was held at the Wellington Catholic D.S.B. building on 255 Speedvale Ave. West from 9 am -3:30 pm on June 16, 2025. The day was bookended with plenary sessions and featured a pizza lunch. Attendees were given the choice to attend 3 of 6 workshops which covered topics such as: Volunteers & Community Engagement, Social Finance & Social Enterprise, Using AI to increase capacity, and Improved Communication Strategies.
Non-profit professionals from our community gathered together to learn, build relationships and share ideas. The network opportunities over the provided breakfast and lunch were a highlight for many. It was inspirational to see so many non-profit organizations being represented as we all came together to learn from each other and share ways to overcome common challenges in this sector.
We are so thankful to our speakers for their insight and all the attendees who for contributing to such a meaningful day! We also thank Wellington Catholic District School Board for hosting us in their wonderful space and for Domino’s Pizza for providing lunch.
This event was hosted by: United Way Guelph Wellington Dufferin, Toward Common Ground, County of Wellington, City of Guelph & the Guelph Community Foundation.
We were so happy to connect with you all, and can’t wait for the next one!
