Community Service Recovery Fund Results

The Guelph Community Foundation is pleased to announce it’s disbursement of $512,000 in funding to support 11 community service organizations in Guelph and Wellington County through the Government of Canada’s Community Services Recovery Fund.

The Community Services Recovery Fund is a one-time investment of $400 million by the Government of Canada to help Community Service Organizations, charities, non-profits, and Indigenous governing bodies located in Canada. adapt, modernize and be better equipped to improve the efficacy, accessibility and sustainability of the community services that they provide through the pandemic recovery and beyond. The Foundation received twenty-seven (27) applications to CSRF for funding totaling $1,359,719 in requests. The funding provided was for the full amount of funding requested for almost all successful applications. From the 27 received, the Foundation has been able to invest in 11 organizations from its allocated funds. Read the full press release for the recipient listing.
