$64,000 Granted to sixteen local arts organization musagetes media release

GCF Musagetes Fund grants $64,000 to the Arts!

The Guelph Community Foundation and its fundholders are proud to announce our 2025 Musagetes Fund recipients. The funding decision to distribute $64,000 to sixteen charitable organizations in Guelph and Wellington County was made late last month. Since 2004, this donor advised granting stream has been providing grants to non-profits that provide contemporary art and culture programming. Grant were accepted from March 3 to April 7, 2025 through the online portal for project or operational funding requests.

The Guelph Community Foundation would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Musagetes fundholders and advisors for their continued support of contemporary art and culture in our Guelph and Wellington County. We are so grateful to be able to help support the arts in our community so they can continue to inspire, challenge, and delight their audiences.

Due to inflation and rising prices, the need for charitable support is great as programing and operational costs are higher than in previous years. The Foundation is honoured to be able to provide this financial support for these non-profits so they can better do their impactful work.
