All eligible donations receive a charitable tax receipt.
E-Transfer Donation
E-transfers are a simple way to support an existing fund, contribute to community granting, or make a gift to Foundation operations. Please include your full name, email address, and the name of the fund you wish to support.

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Donation
Electronic Funds Transfer provides a secure and convenient way to make one-time or recurring contributions directly from your bank account.
EFT donations can be directed to a specific fund, the Community Fund, or other charitable initiatives administered by the Foundation. Contact us at [email protected] for EFT instructions and assistance.
Bequest
Including the Guelph Community Foundation in your will is a powerful way to create a lasting legacy and support the causes that matter to you, today and in the future. Your gift can be a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or the remainder of your estate after loved ones have been provided for.

If donating by cheque, please indicate the fund or charitable initiative you wish to support. Charitable tax receipts will be issued for eligible gifts.
Gifts of Securities
Donating publicly traded stocks, bonds, or mutual funds is one of the most tax-effective ways to give.
Gifts of securities provide two significant benefits: a charitable tax receipt for the full market value of the securities and exemption from capital gains tax on the appreciated value. Donors receive a tax receipt based on the market value of the securities on the date of transfer.

Gifts of RRSPs/RRIFs
You may designate the Guelph Community Foundation as a beneficiary of your RRSP or RRIF.

Gifts of Life Insurance
Life insurance can be an effective way to make a significant future charitable gift.
You may transfer ownership of an existing policy or name the Guelph Community Foundation as a beneficiary. This approach allows you to make a lasting impact without reducing assets available to your loved ones. Donation receipts may be issued for the policy’s cash value and eligible future premiums.
