Our Funds
The Guelph Community Foundation is home to over 100 funds that support: arts & culture, health & wellness, children & youth, education, recreation, seniors, social services, the environment and animal welfare.
Unrestricted Funds
Unrestricted funds provide us with the most flexibility in responding to community needs. Named funds can be established with a gift of $10,000 or emerging funds can be created with pledge commitments.
Donors interested in supporting future community needs are able to make a contribution of any size to our Guelph Community Foundation (GCF) Community Fund.

Gary & Wynne Christie
“We don’t want to just live in a community. We want to support it, participate in it, and help to strengthen it. The permanent funds we created have significant meaning to our family”.

~Gary & Wynne Christie, fund holders since 2004~

The Christie's established the Thelma Townsend Fund in memory of Wynne’s mother Thelma Townsend (supporting Guelph museums) and the Wynne Christie Townsend Fund (supporting Hospice Wellington).
